How do you create your brand?
You brand as it pertains to fashion is your 'style' (of dressing). Your brand is your trademark. You do have to have that in mind first-off. Thus people identify you with it easily.
'Dress the way you want to be addressed' is a cliche quote to most people, but forget that at the the moment and try to dig deep into it's meaning for some minutes. Whether you like it or not, when people see you for the first time, you create an immediate impression and the more they see you, the more you get registered into their minds with that same impression you've created from the onset they saw you. It's all normal.
It's not really what you say that matters here now 'cos obviously they see you as a person before you say a word. Your personality could be concluded upon by your appearance !

In fact most people have brands without them knowing it. Imagine you were with a group of people and you suddenly saw someone who seemed to be your friend, but you aren't just sure 'cos you could't see him clearly.
Suddenly, you concluded and told your colleagues 'that's my friend', they asked why & how you figured that out. You told them straight up that you know very well how he dresses and even some of his choice of wearables.
Creating a brand for yourself requires nothing more than creativity. What kind of clothings or fashion do you like as a person and off you go. Do you love to dress like a geek or probably like a pop star? Is it vintage dressing you like. C'mon, just stick to it, and you can always change it when you are tired of that brand; free world remember. Naeto C did that. Just remember to be yourself and set a trend and don't follow one.
Ngozi Okonjo Iweala has got a brand. She always dressed in ankara, at least all times on T.V. and she's got a particular style of tying her head gear. You could check her
Davido loves t-shirts and snapbacks, OBEY to be precise. He tops these up with simple chinos or jean trousers with an effective footwear.
